Jimmy Wayne is out on his Meet Me Halfway walk raising money and awareness for homeless teens and young adults.
He's expected to reach the halfway mark on Saturday - that's Amarillo, TX!
On Saturday he'll have been on the road for 93 days, and walked about 977 miles.
Jimmy says the walk is "a rewarding and gratifying journey so far. The people I have met along the back roads of America, as well as those in the bigger cities I have walked through have all been hospitable, and curious about why I'm walking."
He wanted to be at the halfway mark sooner, but extreme weather conditions caused delays. He thought he would make it to Phoenix (the ending point) before the end of March!
