Garth & Trisha host a Flood Relief Benefit Concert

Garth and Trisha held a press conference on Thursday, October 28th at Tennessee's State Capitol to make their big announcement.

The benefit concert will support the ongoing flood relief for Nashville. Garth says it's simply his way of trying to help, and Trisha says that they've learned that rebuilding is a slow process after watching what has been happening in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina five years ago.

Their show will raise money for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, and will be at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on December 17th.

This will be Garth's first Nashville concert since 1998!

Tickets are $25 with 100% of the proceeds going to charity.

More details will come out on November 3rd.

Taylor Swift Sued!

I'm surprised it took this long!

Her former manager, Dan Dymtrow is suing Taylor and her parents, Scott and Andrea, claiming they owe him millions in back commissions. He says he is the one who opened the doors to her success and he's the one who introduced her to industry insiders like Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Records CEO.

Dymtrow claims he was fired right before her deal with Big Machine so they wouldn't have to pay him.

They say he never received the proper court approval for his contract with a then 14-year-old Taylor so they could - and did - lawfully dissolve her agreement with him. Plus, they say this all happened well before her signing with Big Machine Records.

His case was launched in 2007, and a judge dismissed all but one of his seven claims. Last week The Swifts and Dymtrow filed a joint letter to obtain documents they believe support their sides when they meet in court. So that should be interesting.

No trial date yet, but I'll keep you up to date.
