DANNY GOKEY GETS HITCHED

(from tasteofcountry.com)

Congrats to Danny and his new wife, model Leyicet Peralta. The two were married January 29th in Florida. Danny was married to Sophia who died in 2008 after a routine surgery for congenital heart disease. The two newlyweds asked their guests to give a donation to Sophia's Heart, the children's charity that Danny founded in honor of his late wife.

Danny told People magazine, "We are so thankful to have found each other and now be able to spend the rest of our lives together."

Wondering what's up with Danny musically in country? He says, "I would like to be known for the love songs...I want to be like the Brian McKnight of country music."
