LOST - It's 100th Episode

My girlfriend Rosie sent me this from MSN today and I had to share! I am so excited for the 100th episode tonight - gonna be great! Sides will be picked - and soon we'll find out about The Incident!

"On April 29, "Lost" celebrates its 100th episode. Sure, there were a few stinkers and clip shows needed to get to that milestone. There was some frustration about secrets kept too long, characters left undeveloped (or overexposed) and plot points forgotten. But all in all, the show's offered one heck of a ride for those patient enough with it. In honor of the 100th episode, we thought we would take a look at 100 of the show's best moments. In no particular order, they are:Related:"

Dancing With The Stars

Chuck and Julianne are out! Chuck is going back to music full-time now. He said that, contrary to what people thought, his relationship with Julianne wasn't destroyed by the show. He did think that the group dance Monday may have "did us in." Chuck was a class act praising Melissa Rycroft's fans for keeping her in the competition even though an injury prevented her from performing on the live show, so they scored her on her taped rehearsal. The final five will perform a ballroom and Latin dance next week.

Jewel's hubby Ty Murray is still in the competition (the fans really love him). Ty did succumb to a bit of peer pressure this week - he got a spray tan - and Jewel tweeted "Mama like!" LOL In his blog he wrote, "It's funny; out here there are a lot of horns honking and back home in Stephenville [Texas] if you hear a horn honking it's because they're a friend of yours who wants to wave at you. In L.A., they're not honking because they know you." Love it! LOL

Holy Meltdowns Batman!

Did you guys see Celebrity Apprentice last night? I know last season Piers and Omarrosa got into it (she being the nastiest vile piece of ...OK, if you can't say anything nice...) but WOWza! Melissa and Joan Rivers were really dropping the swear bombs at Brandi and Annie last night. And also at the production crew. Melissa was fired and wasn't going to do any exit interviews. I missed most of the show, so don't know just how much of what was being said was true, but to act like a 4 year old in that situation was some pretty good TV. I am searching the net for some video but can't find any right now. If I do I'll post it! Of course, mommy Joan also walked off the show!

Clint Black is still in it, and he won $20,000 for his charity - the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. Sounds like Clint once again didn't utilize his team as fully as they would have liked. Jesse James was really unhappy with Clint. I've really liked Jesse, but last night he seemed like a different person. (and just last week I realized that he is married to Sandra Bullock! ::slaps forehead:: She, of course, the big star that Piers was alluding to when it came to fundraising) Joan, who said she hated Clint a few weeks ago, seems to adore him now, and said it was "all Clint" regarding their win!

This week's the teams had to create a four-page print ad for Right Guard deodorant featuring New York Knicks player David Lee. Since KOTU won their ad will be featured in "Sports Illustrated" and SI.com.

Overall - I have once again, been highly entertained by The Celebrity Apprentice. (Dang - it is really hard to admit that! LOL)

Jo Dee Messina's coming to Milwaukee

Jo Dee Messina is doing something different for her next tour. The "Music Room Tour" will treat fans to an intimate solo acoustic performance that allows the audience to become part of the show. Jo Dee will sing her hits, like "Heads Carolina, Tails California," "I'm Alright," "Bye Bye," and "Bring On The Rain." Jo Dee will share the stories behind the songs, take questions from the audience and take requests. Jo Dee says this will "give folks the opportunity to get to know me on a more personal level. I'm leaving out the fancy production and using the show time to 'visit' with the audience for a while -- as if they were to come to the house and sit with me in my music room." She says, "I think it will be a lot of fun. Instead of going to see a show, the audience will be a part of a show."

The "Music Room Tour" launches in Verona, New York tonight. On May 4 she'll wrap the tour in Milwaukee at the Northern Lights Theater.

Taylor & Miley on Another List

Honestly - I hate lists like this! I don't know most of the people listed - therefore I am officially getting ::whispers:: old. :( Photobucket

It's The "Entertainment Tonight" list of the "20 Hot Stars Under 20"

The list is a mix of artists (acting and singing) from 11 to19.

No surprise then to find Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus on the list.

Taylor really has some impressive numbers on the album charts. When "Fearless" (2009 ACM Album of the Year) came out she became the first artist ever to hold six top 20 debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 within a calendar year.

And Miley is...well...Hannah freakin' Montana...only the most popular teenager on the planet. Photobucket

Look for them today on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show."

George Strait's Brother Found Dead

My thoughts and prayers go out to George Strait and his family. John "Buddy" Strait was found Friday morning in a Texas Hotel room by the cleaning crew. The Bexar (Bear) County deputies believe he died from natural causes, but an autopsy was scheduled for the weekend to determine the exact cause of death. John is two years older than George, who was just honored as the Academy of Country Music's Artist of the Decade, and he just celebrated his 57th number one song with "River of Love." George and his family are asking for privacy at this time.

Single of the Year

Album of the Year
"Fearless" by Taylor Swift

I confess that when Matthew McConaughey walked on the stage to introduce the Entertainer of the Year I rolled my eyes. He's got a movie coming out so he's there to promote it, and truth be told, I hate that about these awards. I mean, so what he has a movie coming out? It's an award show for country music and I hate when the network running it puts presenters in to promote their own shows (hello Jennifer Love Hewitt of CBS's Ghost Whisperer - can I tell you that I hate what you've done with the show this year so I stopped watching when you killed Jim, and IDK how you've brought him back!).

Well Matthew proved to be the highlight of the show. I really don't know if he went off script or what, but it was pure gold!

The show had a fantastic opening last night with Brooks & Dunn performing "Play Something Country" that they wove inbetween Taylor Swift's "Picture to Burn," Sugarland "It Happens," Carrie Underwood's "All-American Girl," and Rascal Flatts "Me and My Gang."

Probably the most poignent moment of the show last night was Trace Adkins performing with The West Point Glee Club on his song from his CD "X" "'Til the Last Shot's Fired." You can download the performance at itunes right now with the proceeds benefiting the wounded warrier charity.

Many great performances last night including one from Top Male Vocalist Nominee Toby Keith of his last number one "God Love Her."

Taylor Swift had a very 'magical' introduction to sing her new song "You're Not Sorry" via David Copperfield (who really should not wear a black cowboy hat like that again - seriously dude, not your look - next time try one like Toby's).

After her performance Taylor got a special award.

Carrie performed her current hit "I Told You So" in a very secretly guarded dress. She said we would either love it or think it was "weird." I thought it was both! LOL

Keith Urban performed his hot new song "Kiss a Girl" from his hot new CD "Defying Gravity."

Billy Ray Cyrus introduced his daughter Miley for her fun performance of her new song "The Climb" from the Hannah Montana Movie that is in theaters this Friday.

One of my fav performances from last night was, of course, Sugarland and their song "What I'd Give."

It was a great show last night and I found this of the best moments to share with you.

One of the surprise performances last night was Blake Shelton's "She Wouldn't Be Gone." Blake was a last minute fill in for Tim McGraw. Something happened during rehearsal Saturday night that caused Tim to walk out and his management to remove him from the lineup. I will let you know as soon as I find out what happened. Tim will be part of the tribute to George Strait in the ACM Artist of the Decade tribute concert that is being taped today and will air May 27th on CBS.
