LOST! LOST! LOST!

Here are my thoughts on that wild ride last night. Gosh I couldn't believe when it was over! I want more! Oh, to just be able to sit and watch them back to back!

Best reveal is a toss up between Widmore being an Other or Locke sending Richard to him at birth. I bet Locke was suppose to pick the compass then way back.

Oh Des naming his son Charlie! I completely forgot that Penny’s dad’s name is also Charles. My mind went right to Charlie Pace ::sings:: “You All Everybody.” Of course it had to be that Charlie – Charlie who Des saved over and over so that Charlie could sacrifice himself to save Desmond and everyone by telling them “Not Penny’s Boat” in Through The Looking Glass. I still miss Charlie and hope we can somehow get him back for an epi or two.

I think all the people that don’t belong on the island are slowly getting killed off.The cute blondie with the gun knows Daniel! I loved the camera angle of behind the gun view of Miles, Dan and Charlotte. They look like they belong to the band that tried to chop of Juliette’s hand. Yep, they do.

Cute blondie’s name is Ellie. Mrs. Hawking’s first name is Eloise (which was also the name of the rat that ran the maze that Des found put away in Oxford – the rat and maze that Daniel was running in the epi The Constant.) Could she be a young Mrs. Hawkings? Could she be Daniels mum?

Des is sooo hot! YUMMY!

Why didn’t Dan want to tell Richard his name? Why did he give Richard a funny look when he said his name? I can’t remember - does Richard Alpert stand for something else? Is it an anagram? Is he someone like Locke/Bentham?

I guess the flashes aren’t happening every 108 minutes – but great thought!

So the flaming arrows were prolly The Others firing on who they thought were soldiers.

Sidenote – I can’t wait to see Coraline. I read the book and it was great!!!

LOL the bomb is named Jughead.

Widmore has a scale model of a ship in his office. Could it be a model of The Black Rock which he seems obsessed with?

Widmore wants to know if Penny is safe ‘cuz of Ben’s threat.

Widmore says that Dan’s mom won’t want to see Des. Why wouldn’t Dan’s mom want to see Des? If she is Mrs. Hawking then why wouldn’t she want to see him when he belongs on the island?

So Widmore is an original Other? Widmore told Ben the island was his. It was his before Ben. He must have had to move the island like Ben and couldn’t go back and has been trying to get back ever since just like Ben. So of course he would think the island was his over Ben’s – he was there first. Now the question is was he born there? ‘cuz we know that Ben wasn’t. If Widmore was then he definitely has a bigger claim to the island than Ben.Was Penny born on the island?

Love that Pen can see thru Des’s lying.

JESSICA SIMPSON IS NOT FAT PEOPLE!!!!!!!

I am really mad at all the people that say Jessica is getting fat!!! Shame on every one of them! This girl looks normal! She is not a skeleton so she must be getting fat! The girls/young women today need an image like hers. I am tired of looking at young women and thinking someone should shove a sandwich or two down their throats!

Now her fashion choice - that's another story. These look like pants from my high school days - they are very unflattering - on anyone - so why, oh why are they making a comeback?

They remind me of an old SNL sket for "Mom's Jeans." LOL

Here are the pictures - you be the judge, and then vote on the poll to the left if you think she's getting fat!

This is a skinny picture of her. Does she really look better here? Shame on all the news outlets making money on calling her fat!! They should be praising her for looking like a normal person!

COUNTRY MUSIC NEWS

TAYLOR SWIFT is in Teen Vogue and tells them she suffers from "girl-next-door-itis"-the social disease that keeps nice girls from finding love. "I'm the girl who ... the hot guy is friends with and gets all his relationship advice from but never considers dating." She also told the magazine "I thought I'd have so many more friends, but I feel like I'm less popular than I've ever been. It makes me value the people I can trust even more."

CRAIG MORGAN wants to act. He thinks it "would be fun," saying, "I see guys like Jackie Chan and Chris Rock and some of the stuff that they do and think, 'God, I'd love to hang out with those guys and make a movie with them!'" He is studying the art in a roundabout way. "I have kids that are taking acting lessons, so rather than pay for me to do it, too, and not be cool, I let them go. Then they come back and tell me everything they've learned." Of course, he can also count making videos as acting and he just shot the video for his latest "God Must Really Love Me" at The Drake Hotel in downtown Nashville on Monday.

MERLE HAGGARD isn't shy and he says he's not really fond of the modern country sound. He told the "Wyoming Tribune Eagle" technology has made it possible for anyone to make a record, and, "you don't really know who can sing or can't until you see them in person, then you're like, 'Oh my God, what happened?'" He says it's "kind of sad in some ways," because, "it's so perfect, and there are no surprises." The real problem according to The Hag is that this obscures talent, and that, "you have to get past the belly buttons and the videos and somewhere in there there's some kind of music." He does like Carrie Underwood but says he doesn't find anything special in her material. Really, not even "Just a Dream?" I wonder what he thinks of Miranda Lambert's music. She is such a die hard fan of his that one of her biggest compliments came from a reviewer who called her "Merle Haggard with lip gloss." I'd also like to know what he thinks of Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. Both are such huge triple threats - singers, songwriters and guitar players. Keith's last album "Love Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing" was very much like he is in concert with his guitar jams just continuing on, and of course Brad's last album was the phenomenal "Play." Ahhh, the questions I'd like to ask.

LOST

It's LOST day! I won't use the word Wednesday now until late May! heehee

Here's something fun for all you Sawyer fans! You know he lets fly with the nicknames fast and furious so TVGuide.com. put up some of their favs. Here ya go!

11. "Freckles" For: Kate
Explanation: This one gets a nod simply because of the sheer volume of its usage. Plus, this pet name is endearing, which we can't say for most of the others.Honorable Mentions: "Sassafrass," "Shortcake"

10. "Genghis" For: Miles Straume
Explanation: Sawyer doesn't shy away from the easy references, and ethnicity is usually his first line of attack. Case in point: this reference to Mongolian ruler Genghis Khan. Sawyer's also referred to Miles as "Bruce Lee from the Freighter" and "Donger," a play off of Sixteen Candles' Long Duk Dong.

9. "Kenny Rogers" For: Frank Lapidus, the Freighter Folk's chopper pilot
Explanation: A simple look-alike gag, but it had us rolling.Honorable Mention: Shaggy

8. "Jackass" For: Jack
Explanation: Get it? His name is Jack, and Sawyer's calling him an ass. The clever devil.Honorable Mentions: "Cool Hand", "Dr. Do-Right," "Dr. Giggles," "Amarillo Slim"

7. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" For: Jin and Sun Kwon
Explanation: While again ethnically based, this nickname is also indicative of Sawyer's extensive knowledge of high and low culture. He frequently references Star Wars and classic literature. In this case, we think he was just hoping for subtitles to Jin and Sun's conversation.Honorable Mentions: "Papa-San" (Jin); "Tokyo Rose" (Sun)

6. "Rambina" For: Ana Lucia
Explanation: Tough as nails, she was one of the few women on the island to match Sawyer's surliness. Her fearless, cavalier approach earned her the name. Honorable Mentions: "Hot Lips," "Ana LuLu," "Cupcake"

5. "Skeletor" For: Roger Linus's skeleton
Explanation: Okay, totally obvious. But Sawyer was drunk. On who-knows-how-old Dharma Initiative beer. Still, funny. (side note - epi 6 is suppose to be Dharma-centric and I have a few cool definitions of Dharma that I will be sharing with you soon)

4. "Mr. Clean" For: Locke
Explanation: We're big fans of this one, and wouldn't you know it, executive producer Damon Lindelof says it's his overall favorite. "It felt particularly witty, considering Sawyer had used up most of his 'bald' jokes at that point," Lindelof said. "He proved ever-resourceful."Honorable Mentions: "Cue Ball," "Brutus," "Colonel Kurtz"

3. "Captain Bunny Killer" For: Ben
Explanation: One of Sawyer's most literal nicknames: Only days earlier, Ben had "killed" a rabbit to scare Sawyer into submission.Honorable Mentions: "Yoda," "Gizmo," "Bug-eyed Bastard"

2. "Stay Puft" For: Hurley
Explanation: Hugo has been on the receiving end of Sawyer's quick wit more than any other survivor, and once revoked Sawyer's nicknaming privileges by beating him at ping pong. Unfortunately for Hurley, Sawyer falls back on physical appearances even more often than ethnicity.Honorable Mentions: "Three Men and a Baby" (with Charlie and Aaron, counting Hurley twice), "Deep Dish," "Jabba," "Snuffy," "Jumbotron," "International House of Pancakes"

1. "Captain Falafel" For: Sayid
Explanation: Just as Hurley is the main recipient of fat jokes, Sayid gets the most racist comments. The once-and-future assassin did torture Sawyer only a few days after they met, but still, not cool. Of course, Sayid seems to take a sticks-and-stones attitude to the whole thing. Honorable Mentions: "Red Beret," "Al Jazeera," "Captain A-rab"

Bonus: "Plato" For: ???
Explanation: Executive producer Carlton Cuse let us in on this Season 5 nickname. "He calls somebody 'Plato' this year, and that one I like a lot. Sawyer's exasperation with his circumstances is a fun part of the story." (hmmmm - another philosopher - like Locke and Locke's alter ego in the casket Benjamin Latham - I'll guess Charlotte - and I know I'm totally wrong! LOL)

Double Bonus: "New Otherton" and "Caught in a Net"
Explanation: Who says Sawyer's knack for names only applies to people? He also came up with these monikers for the Others' barracks and sex, respectively.

Now check this out to get your OWN Sawyer nickname.

COUNTRY MUSIC NEWS

KEITH ANDERSON'S website says he will have vocal cord surgery soon. It's a good time 'cuz his tour schedule is light - he gets into full gear in March. His doc is expecting him to make a full recovery. His condition isn't painful but he's had to scrap a few shows because of it One of the shows he cancelled last year was at The Pheasant Run Resort. At the time we hoped for a rescheduling, and that may still happen, but I haven't heard anything yet. You can hear his new song "She Could've Been Mine" now on WXRO.

The Grammy's are coming up soon and since they are on CBS they'll be airing a special pre-GRAMMY program "Katie Couric's 'All-Access' Grammy Special" February 4th at 7pm. Country Stars taking part in the program include Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift. Katie went out on the road with Taylor for a behind the scenes look. The idea behind the show is to show us a new side to the artists and producer Susan Zirinsky says we can expect the performers to reveal themselves in uniquesly intimate ways (sounds like a Barbara Walters thing to do). Other stars on the show are Justin Timberlake, Lil' Wayne, Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers, Metallica, and Ne-Yo.

JASON ALDEAN has named his new album "Wide Open" and it's hitting stores on April 7th. Why "Wide Open" for a title? Jason says it, "describes my personality and attitude 100-percent." He also recorded the material live with his touring band and they, "tried to picture ourselves playing them in an arena down the road somewhere. I think you can definitely feel that energy." "She's Country" is on it and a cover of Alabama's "My Home's in Alabama" featuring guest vocals by Randy Owen. Jason, told USA Today, "I made my band learn and record it as true to the original track as possible, tried to get the same guitar tones, play the same licks."
