More Babies

Josh Turner has announced that he and his wife Jennifer will be parents again in early 2011. They have 2 little boys and their family will expand early next year. Josh said he knew Jennifer was pregnant before she did saying she was "acting a little different" so he had her take a test. First one was negative so he told her to take another and the positive result floored her. Congrats!



Darryl Singletary and his wife are expecting twins in early November. He said they were hoping for one boy, "but to have two boys, that's just double the trouble." LOL He and Holly have already picked out names - Mercer Ellis and Johan Michael. Mercer is Holly's maiden name and Ellis was Darryl's great grandfather. Jonah is a name they both liked and Michael is Holly's dad's name.

Baby number two is on the way. 21-month old Evie is going to be a big sis!

Taylor Swift Update

She had a webchat yesterday and I have the scoop! It lasted about an hour, and almost 60,000 participated at one point! People from all over the world watched, including the U.S., Italy, France, Brazil, Ireland and Sweden.

New music from Taylor is coming out on August 16th as she is set to release "Mine" the first song from her October 25th album Speak Now.

Taylor wrote all the songs for the 14 track CD and every song is about her and her life. She said, "I don't really talk about my personal life in interviews, but I definitely sing about it." (SHOCKER - NOT!!! :)

"Mine" comes from "kind of my tendency to run from love." Her romantic experiences of late have left her reluctant to commit (you're only 20 sweety, you've got lots of time), but she says she remains "blindly optimistic when it comes to love." "Mine" is about "finding someone who would make you believe in love and realize that it could work out." (The video was recently shot in Maine and there are scenes where she's wearing a wedding dress.)

Speak Now is the title of the album and when asked to explain that she said, "Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything. These songs are made up of words I didn't say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person."

Taylor also said she's settling into her new home, that she's passionate about cooking and is into headbands right now.

She has set up a special website www.SpeakNow13.com There you can find more details and a widget that counts down to the release of "Mine."

Carrie & Mike's Honeymoon

They tied the knot Saturday - as suspected - at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, GA.

It was a Saturday evening wedding with the bride wearing a Monique Lhuillier chantilly lace gown. Guests said Carrie was so beautiful it was "impossible to describe." Needless to say, I'm dying to see her wedding pix and will post them here when I get them.

In a statement to "People" magazine they said, "We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us."

About 250 guests attended including Tim & Faith, Garth and the 3 Idol judges that were there for her win - Simon, Randy, and Paula (talk about a show changing your life)

They are reportedly traveling to Tahiti and Bora Bora for an itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikini honeymoon. OK - that's not what they said, but you know that's what it's gonna be! heehee

Despicable Me is Fabulous

Saw it yesterday and it was wonderful. Young and old enjoyed it immensely. I loved when a small child's laughter rang out when the bad guy was getting his. The 3D was great. If you see it, make sure you stick thru the credits as the Minions have some fun you won't want to miss!.
